About the Role
As a Business Development Executive – Large Enterprise at Kiana AI, you will be responsible for acquiring and developing new enterprise clients by building trusted, value-driven relationships with senior business and technology leaders. You will own the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and closure—before transitioning successful engagements to account and delivery teams.
This role is ideal for experienced enterprise sellers who thrive in complex, consultative sales environments and are motivated by long-term client value creation.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new enterprise business opportunities across assigned territories and accounts
Engage C-level and senior decision-makers to understand strategic priorities and operational challenges
Own the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery through contract negotiation and close
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to consistently meet or exceed sales targets
Align Kiana AI’s AI, data, and consulting solutions to enterprise business objectives
Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes across large organizations
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Collaborate closely with Solution Engineers, AI teams, and delivery leaders to ensure solution alignment and client success
Transition new clients smoothly to account management and delivery teams for ongoing value realization
Required Qualifications
5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, consultative, or intangible solution sales
Proven experience in new client acquisition or business development roles
Demonstrated ability to sell to and influence C-level and senior executive stakeholders
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Experience managing and forecasting complex sales cycles
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling AI, data, cloud, SaaS, or consulting services
Background working with large enterprise clients (e.g., $1B+ annual revenue organizations)
Familiarity with enterprise account planning and territory management
Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
