As a Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales) at Kiana AI, you will play a critical role in bridging customer business challenges with AI-driven technical solutions. You will work closely with Sales, AI Engineering, and Delivery teams to design, present, and validate solutions that demonstrate clear business value.

This role combines technical depth, solution design, and customer engagement, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy working at the intersection of technology and business.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements, business objectives, and technical constraints

  • Lead technical discovery sessions and solution design discussions

  • Design and present AI, data, and cloud-based solutions through demos, prototypes, and architecture walkthroughs

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven business outcomes

  • Support proposal development, RFP responses, and technical documentation

  • Collaborate with AI engineers and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the pre-sales lifecycle

  • Stay current with AI, cloud, and data platform advancements

  • Participate in training and certification programs as required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience

  • 2+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, technical consulting, or related roles

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, data systems, and AI/ML concepts

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset

  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI solutions

  • Prior experience as a Solution Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant

  • Exposure to GCP, AWS, or Azure

  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python, SQL, APIs)

  • Experience in healthcare, retail, or enterprise technology domains
